How It Works

Send us your print-ready PDF or work with our design team to create your layout. We'll review your file for proper margins, bleeds, and image resolution—catching issues before they become problems. Choose your fold style: classic tri-fold, bi-fold for larger panels, gate-fold for dramatic reveals, or z-fold for step-by-step information. Select your paper weight (80lb text for light mailings, 100lb text for premium feel, 80lb or 100lb cover for durability) and finish (matte, gloss, or soft-touch). We print full color on both sides using offset or digital presses depending on quantity, then fold, trim, and package your brochures for delivery or mailing.

Why Choose MCI

Brochures still outperform digital when you need to put information in someone's hands—at trade shows, in waiting rooms, or during sales calls. We've printed millions of brochures for St. Louis businesses, and we know which paper stocks hold up to heavy handling and which folds work best for different content types. Our aqueous coating is included standard, protecting your brochures from fingerprints and scuffs.

Frequently Asked Questions

What fold options are available for brochures?
We offer tri-fold (letter fold), bi-fold (half fold), z-fold (accordion), gate-fold, roll fold, and custom folds. Tri-fold is most popular for general marketing. Gate-fold works well for dramatic product reveals. Z-fold is ideal for maps or step-by-step instructions.
What paper weight should I use for brochures?
80lb text is standard and works well for most applications. 100lb text feels more substantial and holds up better to repeated handling. For brochures that need extra durability—like restaurant menus or product guides—consider 80lb or 100lb cover stock.
Do you offer design services for brochures?
Yes. Our design team can create your brochure from scratch or clean up existing materials. We understand print requirements (bleeds, safe zones, image resolution) and design with those constraints in mind. Design fees depend on complexity.
What file format do you need for brochure printing?
We prefer print-ready PDFs with 0.125" bleed, fonts embedded, and images at 300 DPI. We also accept InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop files. We'll preflight your files and alert you to any issues before printing.
